Become a Friend of London City Brass

Becoming a Friend of LCB is a great way to support the band and everything we get up to. We ask for a minimum donation of £2 per month, or £20 for a whole year. The money goes towards the costs of running the band and putting on all of our performances throughout the year.

As a Friend of LCB, you’ll receive a quarterly newsletter on all the band’s activities, as well as regular updates on our gigs and online content. You’ll also be able to reserve front row seats for all our indoor performances.

Who are we?

London City Brass is a progressive, enthusiastic band who rehearse in the City of London on Wednesday evenings. We're based at St. Margaret Pattens church, Rood Lane, London EC3M 1HS

City is made up of players from various backgrounds and a wide age range. We do like to push ourselves musically, but our main aim is to provide quality entertainment whilst having fun. We’ve got a growing diary of engagements for 2025, and will be working on new music to perform at these over the next few months.

We’re not strictly a contesting band, but we are all registered as contesting players and have competed for three years in the French Open contest, gaining 3rd (2018) and 2nd place (2019) in our section. We finally triumphed in 2022, carrying home the 1st place honours.

Although the band is pretty full at the moment, we're always on the lookout for visiting players, and those who simply want to join in the fun. Get in touch with us and I'm sure we'll find a place for you.
